Abstract The main goal of automobile researchers is to develop internal combustion engines that are fuel efficient and emit zero pollutants. It can be inferred from prior research publications lean burn conditions significantly reduce emissions while improving engine efficiency. lean-burn temperatures lower hence harmful like NO reduced. Gasoline fuels have a narrow equivalence ratio window it was necessary evaluate the other alternative with wider for using in IC better performance fewer emissions. This experiment conducted on single-cylinder digital three-spark ignited electronic injected (DTSI-EFI) single-cylinder, 4 stroke high-speed SI fuelled by hydrogen. excess air ratios changed MBT timing also optimized. Hydrogen has delivered lowest under conditions. data gives guidelines developing hydrogen port injection meeting future norms. experimental attempt protect environment greenhouse gas (GHG) highest Brake Thermal Efficiency (BTE) recorded at leaner condition (λ = 4) as 37.53%, power output 7.02 kW λ=1.5. CO THC absent reduces towards combustion.
